Leeds United are pleased to announce the club will be visiting the United States as part of pre-season ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The trip which will begin in late July, will mark the first time Leeds have visited the US in 29 years.

The Whites will be based along the East Coast for the duration of the tour, playing matches in three major cities.

Daniel Farke’s side will start out in Tampa, Florida, taking on Sky Bet Championship side Wrexham AFC, who currently find themselves sat in the Play-Off places as they aim to challenge for promotion in the closing stages of the season.

Following this, Leeds will head north to New Jersey to take on fellow Premier League side Sunderland AFC, with the Black Cats enjoying an impressive return to the top-flight this term, at New York Red Bulls’ Sports Illustrated Stadium.

The tour will finish with a huge match against 2024/25 Premier League champions Liverpool, who the Whites went undefeated against throughout the current campaign, which will be held at Soldier Field, home of Chicago Fire and the Chicago Bears.

Throughout the club’s time in the US, there will be several fan activations and activities taking place, which will be announced in the coming months.

Speaking about the tour, Leeds United Chief Business Officer Morrie Eisenberg said: “We are delighted to have been invited to visit the US this pre-season, with the opportunity to play three great matches at three fantastic venues.

“This is a great chance to grow our global presence, work with our commercial partners and most importantly provide the first team squad with outstanding training facilities to prepare for the new season.

“I hope supporters are as excited at the prospect of playing in the US for the first time in nearly 30 years as we are, and we can’t wait to see our famous following on the other side of the pond.”

Saturday 25 July: Leeds United v Wrexham AFC (Raymond James Stadium, Tampa)

Thursday 30 July: Leeds United v Sunderland AFC (Sports Illustrated Stadium, New Jersey)

Sunday 2 August: Leeds United v Liverpool (Soldier Field, Chicago)
