Prior to Leeds United's 3-3 Premier League draw with Liverpool, first-team midfielder Sean Longstaff and Managing Director Robbie Evans made donations on behalf of the club to the Leeds South and East Foodbank, which is based at Elland Road on matchdays, organised by the Leeds United Supporters' Trust.
The Supporters' Trust coordinates with local charities to organise collections, with volunteers on hand to take generous donations of emergency products from supporters that will help to support vulnerable families and individuals throughout Leeds.
In the three weeks leading up to Christmas, Leeds South and East Foodbanks will provide over 3,000 food parcels for local individuals and families facing hardship.
Supporters are able to donate food from the shopping list, or money to help to cover operational costs. On the list are tinned meat or fish, tinned fruit and veg, alcohol-free mince pies, chocolate treats, biscuit boxes, alcohol-free Christmas puddings, jam and spreads, tinned potatoes and savoury snacks.
There will be no foodbank when we host Crystal Palace due to the close proximity to Christmas, but the foodbank will return for our fixture with Mancheter United on January 4th 2026. We'd like to thank everybody who has contributed to this year's campaign, your generosity does not go unappreciated.
Despite the foodbank not being at Elland Road again before Christmas, supporters are still able to contribute by clicking the button below:
