Key dates for the 2026/27 season

Mark your calendars.

Fans walking to ground 2025/26

With the Premier League fixtures for the 2026/27 campaign now announced, Leeds United can confirm key dates prior to the season.

Up first…

Daniel Farke’s side will kickstart the new term with a trip to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest. Between the two clubs last season, the Whites were victorious on home soil with Jayden Bogle, Noah Okafor and Jayden Bogle on target at Elland Road.

The encounter on the banks of the River Trent is currently scheduled as a 3pm kick off on Saturday 22nd August.

The festive period?

The final fixture before Christmas also happens to be our last home match of 2026. Fulham will provisionally visit Elland Road on Saturday 19th December. On Boxing Day, the Whites will travel to Villa Park before heading eastbound along the M62 to take on newly promoted Hull City on Wednesday 30th December.

All midweek rounds are listed as taking place on as Wednesday at 8pm. Matches will move for broadcasting thereafter to either 7:30pm or 8:15pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday and on a Thursday in limited cases.

Currently, there is no fixture on New Year’s Day with Leeds instead set to face Everton on home soil on Saturday 2nd January.

The grudge matches:

Last campaign, Okafor’s scintillating double at the Stretford End brought a first Old Trafford league victory for the Whites for 45 years. Leeds will be looking to make that back-to-back wins there on Saturday 15th May in the penultimate away encounter. Manchester United visit West Yorkshire on Saturday 17th October.

A trip to Stamford Bridge awaits on Saturday 21st November before Farke’s men host Chelsea on Saturday 23rd January. The home meeting with Yorkshire rivals Hull City is set for Wednesday 3rd March after December’s trip to Humberside.

And to finish?

Another trip to the capital awaits to round off the season. Last season, we travelled to East London to meet West Ham United but this time around it is South London where the Leeds faithful will visit. Action from Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace will get underway at 4pm on Sunday 30th March.
