Leeds United are pleased to announce Academy midfielder Kenneth Mensah has signed a first professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year deal, committing his future with the Whites until 2028.
The youngster made 22 appearances for Rob Etherington’s Under-18s last term, scoring five times, and made his debut for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s.
Kenneth also enjoyed a productive loan spell at National League North side Scarborough Athletic towards the end of the campaign.
Capped by Italy at youth level four times, Mensah’s international U16 debut came as a substitute against Germany, before facing the same opposition once more and Czechia twice.
Everyone at Leeds United would like congratulate Kenneth and we are excited to see his progression over the coming years.
