Junior Firpo set to join up with Dominican Republic squad

The Dominican Republic announced their latest squad on Wednesday night, as they prepare for November's Concacaf Nations League fixtures against Dominica and Bermuda.

Leeds United star Junior Firpo will join up with Marcelo Neveleff's squad, in the hope that he can help them gain promotion to League A of the Concacaf Nations League and qualification for the Gold Cup 2025.

Firpo has made 14 appearances for Leeds this season, cementing his place as first choice left back, grabbing a goal against Sunderland and popping up with three assists.

Both games will be played at the Cibao FC Stadium in Santiago de los Caballeros, with the clash against Dominica kicking off at 11pm (UK time) on Saturday 16th November. Los Quisqueyanos will then face Bemuda on Tuesday 19th November, also at 11pm UK time.
