Leeds United defender Joe Rodon has been voted the club’s AMT Auto Player of the Month for October, after a string of commanding performances at the heart of the Whites’ defence.

The Welsh international claimed 42% of the supporters’ vote, finishing ahead of Sean Longstaff (22%), Brenden Aaronson (13%) and Gabriel Gudmundsson (12%).

Rodon was ever-present throughout October, playing all 270 minutes across Leeds’ three fixtures against Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 28-year-old not only impressed defensively - with 17 clearances, 12 recoveries, and 16 duels won - but also contributed at the other end, scoring one goal and registering four shots during the month.

Rodon completed 206 accurate passes and made 22 defensive contributions overall, earning a total of 15 Fantasy Premier League points for his consistent displays.

His performances have cemented his status as one of the standout figures in Daniel Farke’s side this season, combining composure in possession with leadership at the back.

Speaking after receiving the award, Rodon said “I’m delighted but it’s really a credit to my teammates, without them it wouldn’t be possible. Everyone knows our fans are the best in the country and it’s important that we put in strong performances week in, week out for them and hopefully do them proud.”
