Jesse Marsch has spoken with the media to preview Sunday’s Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace, at Selhurst Park.
The Whites go into the match looking for their first away win of the season, whilst the Eagles are aiming to return to winning ways after defeat last time out on home turf.
Leeds United’s head coach began with an update on the fitness and availability of his squad ahead of the game, with Luis Sinisterra missing through suspension.
He said: “Stuart had a procedure done this week and had another visit to the doctor, they think he’s doing really well.
"Archie Gray is healing well, hopefully out of a boot and will train soon as well.
"Adam Forshaw had surgery yesterday, it’s a hernia issue which we needed to get done now, he will be out a month but they feel good about the procedure.
"Leo Hjelde had an appendectomy two or three days ago, he was in hospital but is home now, that takes a few weeks.
“Everyone else is ready to go.”
Sunday’s opponents Crystal Palace will pose another tough test for Marsch’s side, and the head coach is fully aware of the atmosphere at Selhurst Park, having faced them last season.
“I have a lot of respect for Palace,” Marsch stated.
“Patrick Vieira is fantastic manager and has a really talented team. We know them well and we’ll be ready.
“One vs one duels will be important, managing their dribblers and individual talent. Specifically we need to stop them getting out of transition and hurting us.
“It’s a big task on the day, but we feel we’ve created a good match plan and the guys will be ready.
“It’s a hostile environment down there, I remember last year we somehow got out with a 0-0 draw. They unbalanced us the entire match and we have to be better to find a way to get a result.”
