Leeds United face Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon, looking to make it back to back wins on home turf after Tuesday night’s win over Nottingham Forest.

Javi Gracia wants his side to remain focused heading into the clash with the Eagles, after stating how proud he was of the team for winning the last match after going behind.

“We know how difficult it is to get a win in this competition,” the head coach stated.

“We did it in our last game but we know how hard it is to get the three points.

“Then, of course we have a positive mentality and we try to do it. We have to be humble and to give the importance for every single point.

“We have to be ready to try to get points in every single game because we know everything can change very quickly.

“Then, we try to be focused on the next game.”

On the test of facing Palace, who sit just one point and one place above the Whites in the Premier League table, the head coach knows it will be another tough challenge.

“I expect a very difficult game for sure like all the games in this competition,” Gracia explained.

“In this case with a new manager [Roy Hodgson], who I had the opportunity to play against him when I was in Watford, I know him very well.

“I know he’s a very good manager and it will be a pleasure to see him again and say hello again.

“Playing at home with the atmosphere we have, it’s special for us. It’s something extra for us and I always want to thank our supporters for the support they give us."
