Leeds United will be looking to round off a superb maiden campaign back in the Premier League with a victory at West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.
The Whites’ top-flight status for next season is already guaranteed after a terrific recent run of results, something versatile full-back James Justin is thrilled with.
“We have still been training hard and, obviously, there is a nice vibe about the place,” the 28-year-old exclusively told Premier League Productions.
“And just that feeling of safety is something we have been working towards all season and for it to be finally mathematically secure is a relief.
“I feel like the last couple of results have been positive. But also, you look back the last couple of months and the last eight games we have been unbeaten.
“It is also a good sign when it gets down to crunch time, we can pull it out of the bag. So, yeah, it is a good thing looking into next season, especially.”
Sunday’s match could have ramifications for the visitors who need a victory and results elsewhere to avoid the drop, but Justin believes the team are focused on continuing their rich vein of form.
“It is just one of those unfortunate things that I have been in the same situation before. You have to abide by the unspoken rule, give it all you to the last whistle.
“No matter what situations happen and where, we are always going to try our best to win the game.”
