Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier spoke exclusively to LUTV following Saturday’s friendly victory over Schalke 04.
The Whites stopper played another 45 minutes as he did in midweek against Hannover 96 as preparations continue for the new campaign.
The newly appointed vice captain gave his verdict on the match and the camp in Germany as a whole.
“I’m happy myself and Karl Darlow could share the clean sheet,” said Meslier.
“We played against a good team and I managed to make a good save.
“We faced a great team and a famous team also, so we managed to show our team has great potential for the upcoming season.
“To finish the training camp with a good performance and a two-nil victory, we are happy.
“Everything has been top on the camp, we faced two great teams and got the two wins and we are fully focused now on the next week, for the last friendly game against Valencia before the season starts.
“We will keep working on every point tactically and physically, it’s really important we are right with everything before the season starts, with everything in our hands.”
