The wait is over, the world’s biggest football tournament is here, and fans will have four Leeds United stars flying the flag at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Brenden Aaronson, Noah Okafor, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Ao Tanaka are all set to take centre stage for their nations over the coming weeks, with plenty of Leeds interest from the opening round of fixtures right through to the knockout stages.
Aaronson is the first United representative in action on Saturday 13 June, while one fixture already stands out for Whites fans, as teammates Tanaka and Gudmundsson go head-to-head when Japan face Sweden in Group F on Friday 26 June.
