Leeds United would like to congratulate Her Game Too, an award-winning campaign tackling sexism in sport, as they celebrate their five year anniversary on Saturday 4th July 2026.
Founded in May 2021, Her Game Too is a passionate movement dedicated to tackling sexism and promoting gender equality within the world of sport. Recognising the pervasive challenges faced by women and girls in sport, Her Game Too strives to create an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can enjoy and participate in sports without fear of discrimination or harassment.
The club and Her Game Too have been proudly partnered for the past five years, and from the outset have aimed to ensure Elland Road continues to be as safe and inclusive as possible for anyone visiting, including all women and young females.
Over the years, Leeds have welcomes numerous special guests at first team matchdays, hoarded additional branding around the stadium and internally held events for staff, including the Leeds United Foundation, to tackle any sexism surrounding football.
The club have also strengthened their relationship with the organisation through the appointment of Levi Macleod as our official Her Game Too representative, a lifelong supporter who can provide a different perspective of match-going fans, and former Leeds United Women's player Paige Williams named as an official ambassador for the charity.
Additionally, the Leeds United Foundation hold the following year round, exclusively for women and girls: Football Sessions and Soccer Camps, Technical Centres, Performance Centres of Excellence, the Girls Academy/Leeds United Women's Shadow Squad, 16-18 Female Education Programme, and the Emerging Talent Centre.
Alongside these events, the Foundation also holds workshops through school programmes such as Premier League Primary Stars to raise awareness and champion inclusivity in children. For more information on the work that the Foundation does with women and girls, please email @[email protected].
From all at Leeds United, we would like to congratulate Her Game Too on their five year anniversary and thank them for the vital work they support year-round to ensure football and sport is a safe space for everyone, including women and young females.
