After scoring her first goal since returning to the club, Hannah Freibach gave her reaction to LUTV.

The striker produced a neat finish shortly before half-time, to send her side in at the interval with an all important two-goal advantage.

That goal turned out to be the winner for the Whites, as they beat Chester Le Street Ladies on home turf.

“I was desperate to score today!” Freibach admitted.

“To get it in the back of the net I was so happy, it’s really pleasing.”

Now attention turns to Tuesday night, where Freibach and her teammates will be looking to extend their winning run to five in a Yorkshire derby clash with Bradford City.

She said: “It’ll be tough. Especially because we have played today!

“We will have some tired legs so it is important now to rest well on Monday, like others have said.

“With it being at Valley Parade, that means the pitch will be bigger so we will certainly be tested.

“I think we can get the three points if we are at our best.”
