Leeds United midfielder Ilia Gruev has been voted Boost's Player of the Match, after his fantastic performance against Cardiff City on Saturday.
The clash against the Bluebirds was Gruev's 13th of the season, with Daniel Farke complimenting the midfielder by remarking "It's a position where we never had problems, so Ilia had to wait a lot. Today, he showed that he's a top, top player with a top mentality."
Gruev played a full 90 minutes, with fans praising his range of passing throughout the game, the Bulgarian international completing 68 out of 70 passes, an impressive 97% accuracy.
Operating across the halfway line, Gruev made 81 touches, won 4 duels, 4 interceptions and 3 tackles, as he broke up Cardiff's advances, helping to towards the clean sheet.
Such was Gruev's dominance, in a game where Leeds had three different goalscorers, the midfielder won the fans vote with 51%. Georginio followed in second with 15%, whilst Dan James came third with 10%.
