Georginio To Join Up With Thierry Henry's France U21s Squad

The Bleuets set to face Austria and South Korea in November internationals

France U21s head coach Thierry Henry revealed his squad on Thursday afternoon, with Leeds United forward Georginio included ahead of their upcoming fixtures against Austria and South Korea.

The Bleuets, leaders of Group H after three successes in as many matches, including a resounding 9-0 against Cyprus, face Austria on Friday 17th November at the Josko Arena in Ried im Innkreis.

They will end the 2023 calendar year with a friendly against South Korea at the Stade Océane in Le Havre on Monday 20th November 20.

Georginio has been in electric form for Leeds in the Championship this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists across his fourteen appearances.

The 21 year old most recently scored the winner against league leaders Leicester City, a 1-0 win at the King Power Stadium, which saw the Whites close the gap on Ipswich Town.

The forward has featured four times for France's U21s, the last coming back in September 2022, a 2-2 draw with Belgium.
