Leeds United forward Crysencio Summerville has been presented with the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month, for October.

The winger was in superb form throughout the month, finishing with a total of five goals and three assists, from five matches!

His eight separate goal contributions came in wins against Queens Park Rangers, Bristol City, Norwich City and Huddersfield Town, propelling the Dutchman to the top of both the goals and assists charts for the Whites.

Crysencio fought off competition from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Leicester City), Vaclav Hladky (Ipswich Town) and Perry Ng (Cardiff City) to win the award.

After being given the trophy, Summerville said: “I feel good, it’s a boost for me and the team.

“I hope I can keep going now and let the people and team enjoy it, I want to help the team even more.”

Daniel Farke was also pleased for his number 10, saying: “I'm happy for Crysencio because he 100 per cent deserves it and for the player, it's a confidence boost.

“It's well deserved, not just because of his goals, assists and really good performances, but also because of the workload and the shift he's put in."
