Together with NFL Foundation UK and San Francisco 49ers, the Leeds United Foundation were delighted to this week launch the Unlocking Potential Programme.
Engaging with young people across the city, the project aims to provide greater access to educational and sporting pathways for 1,000 boys and girls aged 11-20 in primary and secondary schools in the first year alone.
To mark the launch of the initiative, Elland Road held an exciting event which welcomed 120 local students, with an introduction to flag football and the chance to meet four-time Super Bowl champion Jesse Sapolu, as well as Whites club legends Eddie Gray and Dom Matteo.
