Leeds United are pleased to announce Academy full-back Freddie Lane has signed a first professional contract with the club.
The versatile defender, who can also operate on the flanks of the forward line, has penned a one-year deal which will keep him at the club until 2027.
Lane shone on his return to Scott Gardner’s Under-21s side midway through the previous campaign, featuring in 10 matches in the Premier League 2.
The right-back scored his first goal at U21 level in an away draw with Chelsea and also got a taste of European action, starting in a tie against RSC Anderlecht Futures.
Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Freddie and we look forward to seeing him in action across the upcoming season.
