Leeds have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season.
Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and gameweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.
Spoils shared with Brentford
Leeds continued their unbeaten start to the season in all competitions with a late draw against Brentford in Gameweek 2.
No player notched more defensive contributions than Tarik Muharemović (£5.0m) who racked up 19, including a staggering 11 clearances. This helped him to a four point return, despite losing the clean sheet. The Bosnian international looks to be the pick of the £5.0m defenders in FPL and remains a big threat from set-pieces, despite sitting in just 3.3 per cent of teams.
With Wales international Joe Rodon (£4.5m) unfortunately picking up an injury against the Bees, it is worth keeping an eye on Nico Elvedi (£4.5m) who made his Premier League debut and managed six defensive contributions in 56 minutes. James Justin (£4.5m), fresh from his 10-point haul in Gameweek 1, impressed once again going forward, registering one shot and one chance created.
Anton Stach (£6.0m), who was highlighted last week, followed up his 13-point haul against Nottingham Forest with two additional points. The German recorded 16 defensive contributions (six clearances, four tackles, four recoveries, two interceptions) for the second Gameweek in succession. With 17 points in two matches, Stach is the top-scoring Leeds player in the game and at just 2.8 per cent ownership, remains a powerful differential in Fantasy.
Wales’ Ethan Ampadu (£5.5m) was unfortunate not to return defensive contribution points, having done so in Gameweek 1. He picked up 10 in total, including three recoveries, to finish just two short of the required threshold.
The potential for consistent defensive contribution points and clean sheets, as well as Stach’s creativity, makes the Leeds assets good investments for FPL managers heading into Gameweek 3. The next three fixtures include two matches at Elland Road.

Player Spotlight: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£6.0m)
Sitting in over 27 per cent of FPL teams, Calvert-Lewin’s late equaliser saw him get off the mark for the season and return two bonus points to earn eight points. No player managed a higher expected goal involvement (xGI) tally in the match. The Englishman continues to be reliable for minutes, playing back-to-back full nineties.
Encouragingly, Lukas Nmecha (£5.5m) came on to play with Calvert-Lewin, not to replace him. The German picked up a smart assist for the Whites’ equaliser. FPL managers will be hopeful that Calvert-Lewin can continue his form and replicate or even go beyond last season’s tally of 14 goals and two assists. Towards the end of the previous term, the 29-year old scored against Brighton, Newcastle and Crystal Palace – all teams that Leeds will play in the next three Gameweeks.
Best of the rest:
There were several great performances in Gameweek 2. Man City’s Rayan Cherki (£7.7m) scored twice in Man City’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace. The Frenchman also notched two assists in Gameweek 1 and is the most-bought player ahead of Friday’s deadline. Staying with Man City, Erling Haaland (£15.5m) scored his first goals of the season and delivered 13-points for the millions of managers that captained him.
Arsenal and Hull City are the only teams yet to concede a goal so far this season. Riccardo Calafiori (£5.6m) and Semi Ajayi (£4.1m) are tied at the top of the defender points standings on 20. The former picked up an assist and two bonus points against Aston Villa.
