The Leeds United Foundation will host their first Soccercise session on Thursday evening for any females over the age of 16 that want to keep fit and healthy - with the first class free of charge for all participants.

The new programme is suitable for women and girls of all fitness levels and abilities and no football experience is needed for those who would like to get involved in the new exercise initiative – a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to try something different.

Every session will be delivered by a female personal trainer associated with the club with the main objective of creating a comfortable and social environment for everyone in attendance whilst also improving fitness, co-ordination and confidence. Involving the football element is purely just a different way of keeping the classes fun and enjoyable with the added bonus of helping with core stability.

Classes will also be adaptable for each individual so the club’s official charity are hoping to encourage females of ALL ages to sign up, you can bring your friends, mum or daughter or any other family members along with you.

The sessions will run every Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at John Charles Centre for Sport (LS11 5DJ). All equipment will be provided for attendees, with no specialised kit needed; just wear something you are comfortable in.

If you would like more information on the new initiative or would like to register your interest then please email [email protected].
