The Leeds United Foundation are pleased to announce the launch of the Selby Technical Centre, hosted at Selby College.

The Foundation's Technical Centres are fantastic for those who are new to their football journey or looking to develop their ability further. This is a training only, term time programme designed to support grassroots football by focusing on individual development.

They are 1-hour sessions, focusing on individual player development. The sessions are based on individual player football techniques with a NEW Leeds United scheme of work. These include attacking and defending, ball skills, turning, passing, and receiving.

The goalkeeper sessions are focussed on the basic principles of goalkeeping, working on individual development of players. Training sessions run in blocks, highlighting different Leeds United players as examples of skills/techniques. The centre is suitable for children aged between 7-14 years. Players who excel at the centres will be invited to attend the Performance Centre of Excellence.
