The Leeds United Foundation are excited to launch a brand-new Development Centre as part of their Women and Girls programme which will be hosted at Benton Park.

The Development Centre initiative is for young aspiring female footballers, aged 7 to 15, with one session taking place every week alongside qualified coaches from the club’s official charity.

Each session is focused on individualised coaching, that will provide youngsters with the chance to improve not only their skills and technique but also their confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills – covering all aspects of the game.

Through the Development Centre programme, participants will also have the opportunity to progress into the Girls Shadow Squad, another programme that is being delivered by the Leeds United Foundation as part of the female pathway.

As always, participants are able to continue playing for their local grassroots team, and additionally they will also be able to take part in competitive games with their Development Centre which is a new feature that has been introduced to the initiative.

This new centre at Benton Park (LS19 6LX) will host sessions every Tuesday, with the first session taking place on Tuesday 5th December from 5pm to 6pm.
