Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has described new signing Noah Okafor as the “perfect fit” for his side’s attack following the forward’s arrival at Elland Road.
Okafor, 25, joins the Whites after spells with AC Milan, Napoli, Basel and Red Bull Salzburg, where he gained Champions League experience.
“We’ve spoken about wanting to bring in some quality signings for our attack, and Noah fits this perfectly,” Farke said. “He’s the ideal age, has played for two big clubs in Italy, and featured in the Champions League for Red Bull Salzburg.”
The Switzerland international made his name in Austria before moving to Serie A, and Farke believes Leeds can provide him with the platform to rediscover his best form.
“He’s a player of high potential — he more or less has all the skills,” added the German. “We will provide him with full backing and a good stage to perhaps find a bit more consistency compared to the last couple of years.
“If he uses his potential, focuses and concentrates, then with hard work he’ll have everything needed to make an impact at this level. For that reason, we’re all delighted to have him with us.”
