Farke confirms Leeds wait on Struijk assessment

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke confirmed that the club is waiting on an assessment of Pascal Struijk's foot, following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Luton Town.

The Dutch defender was replaced by Max Wober in the 86th minute of the game at Kenilworth Road, struggling to continue after blocking Thelo Aasgaard's shot.

Fast forward to Monday, Farke confirmed in his pre-match press conference, that Struijk "will definitely miss the two games [Middlesbrough and Preston] this week. We need to wait for some further assessment."

Providing further details, the manager stated that "the fear is there could even be a little fracture. If there is a fracture, it would mean the season is over for him but we need further assessment. We still hope for the best."
