Leeds United Women defeated Wythenshawe Women by goals in either half from Drew Greene sealed the three points as the Whites boost their promotion ambitions.

After the game, Drew Greene spoke to LUTV to share her thoughts on the match.

“We are happy with the three points!” the forward began. “I think we came out the first fifteen minutes pushed really hard and we had a few good chances. The keeper did really well and we ended up with a late winner.

“Each game now especially is a must win so to come away with three points is massively important. As long as I am contributing to the win and to the team that's all that matters."

Looking ahead to the clash at Elland Road with Norton & Stockton Ancients, Greene said, “We are really excited for that one! Last year when we played there it was a really good experience in front of the fans.

“We are just really looking forward to it, to be able to play at Elland Road, in front of our own fans. Cannot wait!”
