Diego Llorente has given his thoughts on the upcoming Premier League trip to Craven Cottage on Friday evening, against a resurgent Fulham side.
Scott Parker’s outfit have been one of the form teams over recent weeks as they fight for survival in the league, after being promoted alongside the Whites and West Bromwich Albion last season.
“I expect that they will give more than 100%,” Llorente explained.
“When you are down there at the bottom and are nearing the end of the season, every game is a final, I have been there before a few times.
“We know we will be up against a side that will make things tough for us and it will be hard to get the three points. We will need to work very hard if we want the three points.”
After overcoming injury troubles that impacted on his start to life at Elland Road, the Spanish international has started the last four matches, playing an important role in keeping two clean sheets from those games.
He said: “I feel happy more than anything.
“A few weeks ago when I played my first home game against Southampton I felt so happy and liberated.
“I wasn’t scared or nervous. I have confidence in myself and know what I can give to this team.
“Now I just need some consistency and want to use my abilities to carry on helping the team.”
