Darcie Greene got herself on the scoresheet for Leeds United Women once again, this time as the Whites dispatched Chorley Women 5-0 on the road in the FA WNL Division One North.

Leeds were in the driver's seat at the interval thanks to Greene's opener, but went on to score another four goals in the second half, including another for the full-back turned winger.

After the performance, she said: "Yeah, excellent. I think it was difficult, the first half especially, we struggled to get in the game.

"Chorley did really well defensively, but second half, we definitely came into it. We were just a bit slow in the first half.

"At half time, Simon told us that we needed to pick it up. You could see that we were quite lethargic in places and that people were struggling, but second half, we definitely came out and changed it.

"I'm just pleased that I can do something for the team and get on the scoresheet," our number 20 said on her goal contributions so far this campaign. "The second goal is all credit to Amy [Woodruff], really, I just tapped it in.

"We are always looking for a clean sheet. Obviously, if it comes down to goal difference at the end of the season, it's always important."

And on next week's test against Huddersfield Town Women in the League Cup, Greene added: "They're a strong team, so we're gonna set up in training and just try our best, like we always do every day."
