Leeds United recovered from two-goals down to draw with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Saturday lunchtime.

The Whites found themselves two behind midway through the first half in the capital, before recovering to get back on level terms.

Speaking after the match, Leeds United manager Daniel Farke gave his thoughts to the media.

“I never would sign a draw before a game because we always play to win,” the boss summarised, after the match.

“So for that, after a draw, I'm also not dancing on the table tonight.

“But of course, during this period of the season, when you also have to play the third game within six days, and you are two nil down on the road, then to go away with one point, it's definitely a valuable, important and a good point.

“What was good was the reaction of my team today. We had a similar story of the game last season here, we were also after 20 minutes 2-0 down and just let it happen.

“And today we showed resilience and wanted to fight our way back into the game, which is difficult.

“Of course, we wanted to win this game, but in the end, after this story of the game, it's a good point on the road and we take it and it brings us one point closer to where we want to finish.”
