Leeds United played out a 3-3 draw with Portsmouth on Saturday lunchtime, in the season opener at Elland Road.
The Whites got their Sky Bet Championship campaign off to a perfect start with an early goal, before the away side hit back, forcing Leeds to come from behind twice to claim a point.
Speaking after the match, Daniel Farke gave his thoughts to the media.
He said: “Of course we're disappointed we didn't win this game.
“In many spells it was a pretty dominant performance. But it's also a sign in this league you always have to be switched on.
“Small situations can change the whole game. When we conceded the third goal in the 92nd minute, normally you lose such a game.
“What we showed then, again, the mentality to come back was great. So in these terms I'm really happy and pleased with how they reacted to this adversity, to equalise two times, the second time after conceding in the 92nd minute.
“So for that, although we are just a bit disappointed, I would say also many, many positives to take out of this.
“We will allow ourselves to be a bit disappointed today and then just speak about the positive topics from tomorrow.”
