Daniel Farke: We created more than enough

Boss shares his thoughts on Bristol City draw.

Leeds United continued their unbeaten run away from home in the Sky Bet Championship, picking up another valuable point away at Bristol City.

The goalless draw also confirmed a seventh clean sheet of the campaign for Daniel Farke’s side, who currently sit third in the league standings.

Speaking after the draw at Ashton Gate, the boss gave his thoughts to the media.

“We always play in order to win the game, not just not to lose, so for that we were highly motivated to add a few more points here at a difficult place,” the manager reflected, after the game.

“We were also respectful, because we knew about Bristol City’s home record so far. They’re unbeaten with a really decent home record and a really good side.

“I think we did actually more than enough in order to win this difficult away game. We didn't allow them one proper chance.

“Then we also had the feeling we created more than enough in order not just to score one goal, then if you score one goal, they have to open a bit more.

“I was pretty sure we would have had even a bit more, but we were a bit wasteful in front of the opponent's goal I have to say.

“Overall I think we were there with a really solid away performance. Normally, a performance that should deserve you, or should earn you, a well-deserved three points.”
