Daniel Farke: It's always a tough place to go

Manager looks ahead to Millwall match.

DANIEL FARKE TRAINING OCTOBER 2

Leeds United travel away from home on Wednesday evening, taking on Millwall in the Sky Bet Championship.

Daniel Farke’s side will walk out under the lights at The Den in midweek action, taking on a side who are in fine form, currently sitting 7th in the table.

Speaking ahead of the match, the boss gave his thoughts to the media at Thorp Arch.

“There are no new injury concerns,” the manager began, on team news for the game.

“All the players who were involved for the last game are also available for the game against Millwall.

“So yes, it’s a tough test, we don't have to speak about it. It's always a tough place to go.

“We know as a club how difficult it was in the recent years to win points last season. We were excellent there [at The Den in 2023/24] and had a good win, but it's a tough place.

“Especially once they are in red hot form like they are at the moment, many games unbeaten, three wins in a row, so many clean sheets.

“It's difficult to create chances against them, it's difficult to break them down and they are always dangerous, not just on the counterattack but also out of set-pieces.

“It's a pretty physical and competitive side and I expect a completely different test in comparison to our last game where it was always the challenge to open a deep-sitting, compact opponent.”
