Leeds United's Crysencio Summerville has been nominated for April's PL2 Player of the Month.

The shortlist of six has been selected by the Premier League's Football Development Panel after PL2 club coaches nominated the best performance by an opponent in each of their league matches.

During April, the 19 year-old Dutch winger impressed in the 2-1 victory against Aston Villa, before Leeds United's U23s were confirmed Division 2 champions following a 1-1 draw with Fulham.

Signed from Feyenoord last summer, Summerville has scored 6 goals in 12 games, including a hat-trick against Burnley's U23s.

Summerville's impressive form saw the young prospect make the bench for the first team's recent clash with Manchester United at Elland Road.

Decided by a panel of judges, Summerville is competing against Danny Cashman (Brighton), Josh Hawkes (Sunderland), Dilan Markanday (Tottenham), Cole Palmer and (Man City) for the final PL2 Player of the Month of the season.
