Leeds United are pleased to announce Charlie Cresswell has signed a new contract with the club.
The defender has agreed a four-year-deal, keeping him at Elland Road until the summer of 2025.
Cresswell, who turned 19 last week, captained the Under-23s to the Premier League 2 Division 2 title last season.
His fine performances also saw him called up to the England Under-19s squad, whilst he was also nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season at the end of the campaign.
To date, Cresswell has made one senior appearance for the first team, which came in September 2020, in the Carabao Cup tie with Hull City.
Creswell has now made the step up to the top-flight of the Premier League 2 with Leeds, featuring in both matches played so far.
He was also named on the bench for last Saturday’s Premier League draw with Everton at Elland Road.
