For the upcoming home fixture against Brentford in the Premier League on Sunday 30th August, fans are advised that the usual shuttle bus service from Sovereign Street will be moving to Meadow Lane.
This change will occur for this match only and is due to the weekend’s Leeds Festival, which will be using the coach space on Sovereign Street usually reserved for the matchday service.
Together with Leeds City Council, we have arranged for signage to be placed on lamp posts directing people to the new location over the river on Meadow Lane.
The route from Sovereign Street is shown below. The easiest route is via the recently constructed pedestrian bridge (David Oluwale Bridge) which takes you through to Meadow Lane opposite where the buses will be operating for this game.
Fans are encouraged to allow more time for their travel given the change in procedure. Normal service will resume for home matches afterwards, beginning with Newcastle United’s visit to Elland Road on Monday 14th September.
The club and Leeds City Council thanks supporters for their understanding.
