The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with Bristol City at Elland Road on Saturday have been confirmed, with Keith Stroud set to take charge.

The Hampshire born official is part of the Select Group 2 of referees and also officiated in the top-flight from 2007-2010.  In total he has refereed over 650 matches.

He last refereed Leeds in the famous 1-0 away victory at Swansea City, in which Pablo Hernandez’s late goal helped fire the Whites to the Sky Bet Championship title in 2019/20.

In total he has taken charge of 31 Leeds games, with the Whites winning 16, drawing six and losing nine times.  He has shown 62 yellow cards and four red cards to Leeds players in that time and awarded three penalties for.

Stroud last refereed Bristol City in their 1-0 away win over Millwall in August.

For the Robins, he has previously taken charge in 33 matches, with Bristol City winning 10, drawing eight and losing 15. He has shown 60 yellow cards and two red cards over that period to players of the Ashton Gate side.

Stroud has this season refereed five times in the Sky Bet Championship, issuing one red card, to Birmingham City’s Lee Buchanan for a second bookable offence, in their 2-0 away loss at Watford. In midweek he took charge of the Sky Bet League Two clash between Morecambe and Accrington Stanley.
