Leeds United welcome Arsenal to Elland Road on Sunday afternoon with the fixture being dedicated to the ongoing No Room For Racism campaign, which was launched by the Premier League to tackle racism and discrimination in football and demonstrate its commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
The No Room For Racism initiative sends a strong message to all football supporters that the League and its clubs will not tolerate racist behaviour anywhere and fans are being urged to challenge and report racism wherever it takes place, including online discriminatory abuse.
Over the last two Premier League match rounds the players have been taking the knee ahead of kick-off to show their unity against all forms of racism. Before the start of this season, Premier League club captains collectively selected significant moments to take the knee to demonstrate racism will not be tolerated. Players will also take the knee at Boxing Day fixtures following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, further No Room For Racism matchdays, Premier League fixtures on the final day of the season and The FA Cup and EFL Cup Finals.
To further support education and promote the importance of being an ally, players from the first team and Under-21s have been visiting local schools to see how No Room For Racism educational resources are being used to inspire learning and encourage discussion.
Supporters will be able to see a range of No Room For Racism branding around the stadium on Sunday to promote the work being done, with a branded ball plinth and backdrop set to be used along with pin badges for all players and backroom staff.
To help raise awareness and support the work being done around the No Room For Racism campaign, there will be a range of NRFR branding around the stadium for the match. A special ball plinth will be used ahead of kick-off along with a branded backdrop that will be in place for the line-up, and pin badges will be worn by players and backroom staff.
There will also be videos advertised on the big screen, with information also included in the matchday programme.
