Leeds United got off to a rapid start against Burnley in the Premier League on Friday evening, as Anton Stach fired a precise strike into the bottom corner within the first eight minutes.
The German international kickstarted a dominant performance against the Clarets, with Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin also converting to secure a 3-1 win on home turf.
After the match, Stach spoke to LUTV and said: "I think today the three points are amazing!
"The three points today were so important because it is hard to play against a Burnley team, you need to be so intense in the game.
"We played with lots of intensity and I think that is why we deserve the three points today.
"I am glad that I could score. I think it is always important to have a good opener because it can be difficult against these teams.
"We are on a good run in the Premier League and we want to win the last three games so I think we are highly motivated.
"We have played a very good season. I have to say we were a bit unlucky and some games we could have had more points.
"I am very thankful for the club, and for the coaching staff that they gave me the trust!"
