Leeds United Women are coming into an away clash against Doncaster Rovers Belles following a 1-1 draw away at Cheadle Town Women, looking to climb back to the top of the FA WNL Division One North.
After a long break from games, and Drew Greene's opener against Cheadle being cancelled out by a second-half equaliser, the Whites will be looking to return to winning ways on Wednesday evening.
Ahead of the clash, fullback Alayna Millard spoke to leedsunited.com. She said: "I’m feeling good, it’s nice to be back after a few months on the sidelines.
"It’s always exciting to play against a Yorkshire rival. It will be a challenge but I’m looking forward to it, it should be a good game.
“We have come off two really good team performances against Chorley and Cheadle which has set the tone and standards for the second half of the season.
"We can use that confidence to keep our momentum going into Wednesday to make sure our standards do not drop.
“A positive result is important because our goal every game is to win regardless of who we are playing.”
