Leeds United striker Mike Grella has joined Brentford initially on an emergency loan.
The American marksman, who has not figured in Simon Grayson's plans since last pre-season, will join former United captain Jonathan Douglas at Griffin Park.
His Leeds United contract will be mutually terminated next week allowing the player to pursue a career elsewhere.
Mike had two spells on loan last season, at Carlisle and Swindon, and hasn't made a first team appearance since the opening week of the 2010/11 campaign.
Since joining Leeds in January 2009, the striker has made 38 appearances, scoring four goals.
