PABLO HERNANDEZ: IT'S A BIG GAME

Leeds United playmaker Pablo Hernandez spoke to the media ahead of Friday’s Sky Bet Championship encounter with Aston Villa.

The Whites are looking to end Villa’s winning run at Elland Road and record a third win in four matches following the international break.

Hernandez admitted it is going to be tough, but sees no reason why Leeds can’t collect another three points.

“It is a big game, at home at Elland Road,” said Hernandez.

“Aston are a big team in the Championship and they want to get back to the Premier League.

“They didn’t start very well, but in the last few games they have played good and won many games.

“We know it is going be a difficult game, but we are playing at home and in our previous matches we have played with spirit and we have confidence to get a win against Aston Villa.

“They have good players who have played in the Premier League and we know it will be a difficult game, but I think we have a good chance in front of our fans.

“It is a big test and if we can get the win, I am sure it would give everyone a lot of confidence, I believe we have a good team and squad as well and we can fight to get the points in this game.

“December is an important month for us because you have so many games in such a short amount of time.

“If you can win three or four games in a row, you will soon begin to climb up the table.”
