Leeds United Ladies put on a show for travelling supporters at Ripon last weekend where they managed to secure an impressive 0-13 goal thriller in the FA County Cup tie.

The Leeds side welcomed back Marty Petrova gave the utmost respect to the North Yorkshire side but it was not long before Leeds made their mark in the game. Kez Huegett made no mistake from close range and the ball shattered the back of the Ripon net on 6 minutes. Ripon 0 Leeds 1

Just ten minutes later, Leeds favourite Shelbey Morris crossed in a fabulous ball for the on fire Kez Huegett to head into the back of the net to make it 2. Ripon 0 Leeds 2

Just 7 minutes later, player of the match, Marty Petrova saw the keeper off her line and tried her luck from distance. The lib was pure precision and the travelling fans were delighted to see the ball drop into the back of the net to make it Ripon 0 Leeds 3

With ¾ of the first half gone, the in-form Rebecca Hunt was on hand to help seal the victory for Leeds. Hunt picked up the ball in midfield and with great vision struck the ball high and with accuracy to bypass the Ripon ‘keeper and bring the goal tally to four. Ripon 0 Leeds 4

Within 10 minutes Hunt was there again to attack the Ripon back line. Rebecca slotted her second passed the Ripon goalkeeper as the opposition buckled under the strain of the Leeds pressure. Ripon 0 Leeds 5

Leeds kept ploughing forwards as Arianne Parnham came close with a shot which was high and Kez hit a shot which rebounded agonisingly off the inside of the bar. The Leeds persistence paid off when Arianne Parnham found the back of the net with an amazing run and shot slotting her right-footed strike past the Ripon ‘Keeper. Ripon 0 Leeds 6

Although halftime was fast approaching, Leeds were not resting and a forward foray allowed Kez lots of space to run at the Ripon defence and shoot passed their stationary keeper. Ripon 0 Leeds 7

On the stroke of half-time, defender Shannon Beal gave Leeds their 8th goal of the game and a huge cushion in which to play to the second half.

The second half got underway and Leeds were once again on top. Ripon were struggling to leave their own half as Leeds continued to pile on pressure. Ripon resilience lasted for 20 minutes before Leeds could increase their lead. A fourth goal for Kez Huegett was pushed home from an Arianne Parnham corner and Leeds now led Ripon by nine goals to nil. Ripon 0 Leeds 9

The goal fest continued as Kez Huegett again fired the ball goalward only to see it rebound from the woodwork. Fast as lightning Kez smashed the ball back towards the goal and this time made no mistake and Leeds made it double figures. Ripon 0 Leeds 10

With just five minutes left, Shelbey Morris put her name on the score sheet. Finding herself bearing down on goal with just the keeper to beat she neatly rounded her and slotted the ball into the back of the net. Ripon 0 Leeds 11

Leeds were not finished as Beth Davies headed in number 12 from close range and Rachel Stuart put in number 13 in the last minute of the match.
