Leeds United Sports College has entered into a partnership with Craven College – its first ever Sports Hub.
After launching the new education provision for youngsters aged 16 to 18 at Elland Road last week, the new Sports College has now developed a relationship with Craven College to provide a unique curriculum offer for other students from September 2019.
Those studying at Craven College, which is based in Skipton, will benefit from specialist coaching and development sessions, guest speakers from a range of Leeds United staff and representatives along with enrichment and work experience activities undertaken at Elland Road.
Leeds United Director of Education, Spencer Taylor, said: “This particular partnership is really exciting for us at Leeds United Sports College. It allows us as a football club to reach out into the wider community, using the power of sport to help students progress through educational pathways.
“We’re proud to welcome Craven College as our inaugural Sports Hub, and aim to provide their students with a unique experience during their studies.”
