LEEDS UNITED FOUNDATION TEES UP FOR CHARITY DAY

Former players and celebrities to take part...

The Leeds United Foundation is set to re-establish the club’s Charity Golf Day in May this year as part of a series of events aimed at raising funds for local good causes.

The Golf Day will be held on the 18th May at the Leeds Golf Centre in Wike, recently voted “Club of The Year 2018” at the England Golf Awards.  This all day event will include 9 holes of foot golf in the morning, a BBQ lunch, 18 holes of stableford golf (individual and team) followed by a dinner and charity auction.

We have lined up a host of former players and celebrities who will take part and there will be some fantastic prizes to be won.

Monies raised from the event will not only help the Leeds United Foundation deliver charitable work across the city but will also support young people in to work through links with The Princes Trust and the Ernst and Young Foundation.  Alan Scorfield, Chief Executive of the Foundation, said, “All three charities do great work in Leeds and this is a great way to help them support some young people who will benefit from the help we can provide. The course is a great challenge and the facilities will provide an excellent day overall”.

Anyone interested in entering a team should contact Alan Scorfield at the Leeds United Foundation on 0113 3676015 or by email alan.scorfield@leedsunited.com.
