A look ahead to the Yorkshire derby.

Leeds United Women face another midweek fixture and a third away game in less than two weeks on Thursday, as they make the trip to Hull City in the FA Women’s National League Division One North.

Both sides come into the game off the back of 2-2 draws at the weekend, the Whites recovered from 2-0 down against Middlesbrough thanks to goals from Paige Williams and Kathryn Smith, whilst Hull gained an impressive point against title hopefuls Newcastle United, with a dramatic 97th minute penalty, converted by top scorer Hope Knight.

Supporter Information:

For supporters making the trip, the game kicks off at 7:45pm at Barton Town’s Easy Buy Stadium, DN18 5RL. Tickets are available to purchase by clicking here.

Previous meeting:

The Whites won the reverse fixture 1-0 on the opening day of the season, with Rick Passmoor getting off to a winning start as manager thanks to Olivia Smart’s low strike on 17 minutes.

Team news:

Macy Ellis and Leoni Price are nearing returns from injury. Ellis has been back in training since picking up an ankle knock against Chorley last week, whilst Price stepped up her recovery by getting some minutes for the Reserves side on Sunday.

Players to Watch:

Tigresses’ top scorer Knight has six goals in her last six games. Leeds will also be well aware of the goal threat provided by Laura Bartup.

Bartup spent two years with the Whites before leaving to join Hull in October, after netting 29 goals in 44 appearances for the club, including four goals in the opening six games at the start of the current campaign.

For Leeds, Brown still tops the scoring charts with 14, closely followed by Amy Woodruff who has 13.
