Five from Five for the Women's teams

Five from Five for the Women\'s teams

Leeds United Women enjoy weekend of wins.

It was a brilliant weekend for the Leeds United Women's teams with five wins out of five games.

The first-team squad came back from a defeat the previous weekend to beat Yorkshire rivals Bradford City 4-1 with goals from Rebecca Hunt, Abbie Brown and Emily Cassidy - securing a place in the next round of the FA Plate.

The Under-23s team took on the Bradford City Reserves away from home in the FA Women's Reserve Cup and thrashed them 6-1 with the Under-21s beating Thackley AFC 5-2 in the West Riding Women's League Cup.

Finally, the two younger teams also had successful weekends, with a 10-0 win for the Under-18s in their league as they played Queensbury Celtic away from home and an 11-2 win for the Under-16s players who had a home fixture against Amaranth FC in the WRFA County Cup.

Congratulations to all of the teams and good luck for next weekend.
