More than 21,000 sign up.
As the Season Ticket renewal deadline comes to an end, we are delighted to confirm that over 21,600 supporters have signed up to join us for the 2020/21 campaign.
With the Whites sitting at the top of the Sky Bet Championship with just nine games to go, all those connected to the club are determined to support the NHS and government in the fight to beat COVID-19 and then finish the job Marcelo Bielsa and his team have started.
We are delighted that our supporters have once again decided to come on the journey with us.
The safety of our staff and the wider community is our priority in the coming weeks and therefore the Ticket Office will remained closed until further notice.
Once we do reopen, we do not have any plans to go on general sale with Season Tickets and therefore the small number yet to renew will be contacted by the club.
Chief executive Angus Kinnear said: “We cannot thank our Season Ticket Holders enough for their continued and unrivalled support.
“The fact that almost 60 per cent of supporters had renewed within the first month left us in a position where it would have been unfair to extend the window, especially when we have reached 94% retention by the deadline.
“Candidly this revenue will be our life blood that sustains the club over a period when all other income has ceased, however, we do understand that many fans are experiencing hard times at the moment and therefore we are committed to ensuring that they will get an opportunity to renew for next season once the Ticket Office is operational again.”
