DERBY COUNTY: 25,000 MARK APPROACHES

Elland Road set for another big crowd.

Nearly 25,000 tickets have been snapped up for Friday’s crucial Sky Bet Championship fixture with Derby County at Elland Road.

A United victory on Friday would put Garry Monk’s side eight points clear of Derby in seventh place as Leeds look to mount a Play-Off challenge.

Monk’s men have won their last four matches at Elland Road, scoring eight goals and conceding zero.

The two sides last met back in October, when Derby edged a 1-0 victory at Pride Park in Steve McClaren’s first game back in charge of the club and Leeds will be looking to make amends.

Our last meeting at Elland Road back in December 2015, saw Sol Bamba and Chris Wood get on the scoresheet as both sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw.

The game is a ‘Category A’ fixture with regular tickets from £28 adults, £22 concessions and £5 juniors.
