Adam Clayton joins Peterborough United...
Young midfielder Adam Clayton has joined Peterborough United on a month's loan.
The 21-year-old, who signed from Manchester City in August, has made four substitute appearances for the club since arriving and manager Simon Grayson believes the loan move will be beneficial to both the club and the player.
"Adam is a player we hold in high regard and have high hopes for," he said.
"He hasn't had a lot of opportunities as yet, and a loan move will do him good and us good because he will be able to play regular football and continue his development."
Clayton, who met his new Posh team-mates for the first time on Friday morning, follows Aidy White in moving out on loan after the young defender joined Oldham Athletic this week.
