United duo Paddy Kisnorbo and Ramon Nunez returned to pre-season training at Thorp Arch on Monday.

Paddy is now back in England after undergoing a summer rehab programme in Australia while Ramon was given an extra couple of days rest after being involved in the international set-up with Honduras.

United manager Simon Grayson said: "It was good to have both players back among the lads on Monday.

"It's good to see Paddy working with the lads after doing his re-hab. As I've said before, he's had a tough time, but he's looking to come through pre-season unscathed and get into the games with us now.

"Ramon has had a busy schedule as well, but he did well at the end of last season when he was on loan at Scunthorpe and will be looking to build on that here now."
