Aidy White has joined Sheffield United on loan.

The 22-year-old has made three appearances in the United first team this season, and he will now link up with the League One strugglers in a loan deal that runs until January 1.

Since making his debut as a 16-year-old in August 2008, Aidy has made 102 appearances for United, both as a left-back and on the left-hand side of midfield.

Aidy links up with former United promotion winners Micky Doyle and Neil Collins at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United are currently one place above the relegation zone, and appointed former Derby boss Nigel Clough as their new manager last week.
